The Fates & the Fae, 2024

The Fae & the Fates performative art installation tells a story about a lost agreement between humans and the spirits of nature; the myth of the ‘Faery Accord.’ The artist proposes that breaking this agreement weakened our sense of magic and separated us from nature.

‘The Fates & The Fae’ invites people to help rebuild this lost connection. By weaving together to create faery ladders using cotton threads - that symbolise new beginnings - visitors contribute to the restoration of the accord.

The installation serves as a reminder of our interconnectedness with the natural world and the importance of honoring the delicate balance that exists between humans and the unseen realms.
