Sending prayers from afar 
Evoking the faery queens… 

This project is for our inner child who still believes in magic. It is about awakening this child that can change worlds because it believes it can. This project is for everyone sensitive to see beyond the veil of anger and see the beauty in things dark and light. 

Walking through the ashes that burned up forests for 11 days in my hometown was a cathartic experience. The forest is now a big grave that can hold emotions of loss. However, soon this grave will flourish again with the help of the faery queens, which laments for their favorite trees and guide their souls into rivers of renewal. In this project I research folktales to address the environmental and personal hygiene that is needed after this incident – humans too can flourish after the burned out, but how?

The forest will follow nature's circles and grow stronger. In this project, by exposing the hidden; laments of the faery queens that you often hear in the winds, you get a glimpse of the magic of the forest that is never lost. Even a burned forest has its protectors and spirits to take care of it.
